In this case, the overall board score is 112. You are just multiplying 14 by eight and getting the all-time high score. There is a saying in Octordle: the higher your score, the worse you are playing.
For each word board that you missed, you get 14. The total number of words is 8. Just do this: 14 x 8 = 112. So, 112 is the number that represents the worst score.

You have already made more than 10 guesses but haven’t got the correct word. In Octordle, clocks represent that you will be out of guesses soon. So, if you don’t want to see the clock icon, make the correct guess before 10-13 guesses.
Numbers and clocks are connected. Also, no emoji fits with numbers. This is why the clock is used to display the following numbers:
- 11 o’clock = 11 guesses
- 12 o’clock = 12 guesses
- 1 o’clock (13 on a 24-hour clock) = 13 guesses
